I’ve been testing the new Armytek Barracuda Pro Max for a week now – and wow. This thing is a monster. With 2800 lumens of output and a beam distance of up to 1000 meters, it’s built for serious use – think search and rescue, tactical operations, and hunting. The build quality is second to none. You get a rock-solid military-grade body, waterproofing to 25 meters! And impact resistance from the same height. It’s rare to see a light this tough yet still compact and ergonomic.
It comes with a high-capacity 21700 battery, magnetic USB charger, and even supports CR123A cells with the included adapter. Dual switches (tail + side) make it easy to use, and I really appreciate the tactile feel and silent operation. The magnetic charging port is concealed and super convenient.
Beam profile is highly focused – this is not your backyard floodlight – it’s made for distance. I do wish the UI offered a more usable medium mode between 630 and 2800 lumens, but it’s a small tradeoff for such insane throw and reliability.
