Today, weāre taking a look at the Nextorch ARTORCH, one of the toughest and most unusual EDC flashlights Iāve tested this year. After a week of use, one thing is obviousā¦ this thing is overbuilt. The battery tube is literally three times as thick as my other EDC lights, and the integrated tactical grip in the tailcap looks a bit like brass knucklesā¦ but according to Nextorch, itās for grip and for emergency glass breaking.
This is a compact 18350-powered EDC/tactical hybrid with a unique rear rotary switch, 3 ceramic glass-breaking beads, IP68 rating, and a very rugged overall feel. It also comes with an optional holster.
