The Wurkkos HD17 might be one of the most interesting budget headlamps released this year.
For a long time, my favourite everyday headlamp has been the Sofirn HS21, mainly because of its incredibly practical combination of spot beam, flood beam, and red light, all controlled through a simple rotary switch interface.
But Wurkkos may have just created a serious competitor.
The HD17 offers many of the same features I love about the HS21 – including multiple beam types and a rotary brightness control… but with some interesting design changes that make it easier to operate in the dark.
