Darren here, and this is the Wurkkos HD02 Mini, a tiny flashlight that packs a surprising amount of versatility into something that fits in the palm of your hand!
The HD02 Mini has four different beam options, including spot, flood and red light, and it uses replaceable batteries rather than a built-in battery. It can take either a 14500 lithium-ion cell or a regular AA battery, which makes it particularly interesting as an everyday carry light.
The flat-bodied design makes it easy to pocket, while the double-sided clip means you can even attach it to a hat as a makeshift headlamp. There’s also a strong magnetic tailcap, USB-C charging, metal switches and a high-CRI side LED panel.
Of course, something this small has its limitations. You shouldn’t expect huge output or long runtimes on the higher modes, especially with such a small body and limited battery capacity. The adjustable wing also doesn’t fully articulate, although it still provides plenty of useful adjustment.
