This is the Lumintop W7, a seriously interesting little EDC flashlight that combines a powerful LEP spotlight with both white and red COB flood lighting. With an advertised throw of up to 700 metres, an OLED display, USB-C charging and a compact 18350 form factor, it’s designed to give you both long-range visibility and practical close-up lighting in one package.
But is it actually worth carrying, and is it a worthwhile upgrade over the older Lumintop W3? I’ve been using it for a week, and in this review I’ll take a closer look at its construction, features, beam performance, runtime and overall practicality.
