What’s included
• 5000 mAh battery, lanyard, spare o rings, light, charging cable for battery.
Design/build quality, disassembly, Batteries/charging, Size comparison
• High-quality, military-grade construction. Consistent with all Nextorch flashlights. Chalky matt black anodizing. Interesting how it handles heat well even though there are no cooling fins. It feels like I’m holding a professional tool compared to some other budget flashlights.
• Can’t disassemble
• 21700 cell. Need to charge the battery separately. Unprotected 21700s work, but feels loose. No flickering.
LED, lens, bezel, and reflector
• XHP 50.2 emitter, good combination of throw and flood. Much more throw than XHP 70.2. Sealed stainless steel bezel with OP reflector. AR glass lens.
• Glass breaker – 3 ceramic beads
UI – modes
• Very intuitive UI. Tactical switch, modes, 1-step strobe.
Performance – total output, beam profile, longevity, practicality
• 2100 ANSI lumens. The beam has some artifacts on the edges due to the shape of the bezel. It doesn’t bother me but it’s a by-product of the additional functionality of the glass-breaking bezel.
• Ramp down – 1 min 40 seconds
• Longevity – 2100 lumens high 2.5 hours, med 6 hours, low 23 hours
• Throw – 250m spec (high), 282m measured
• It fits nicely in your pocket, especially with an attached clip. FR-2 works well to clip in the pocket, and allows fast access. No risk of it turning on. The head is a little bulky. Wish it came with a normal clip too.

Verdict
This is a very impressive tactical flashlight from Nextorch. I like how it is purpose-built for practicality/easy access and emergency self-defense situations. The glass-breaking bezel and rotating tailcap switch are features that you don’t get with other tactical lights. Very bright and with a smooth transition from center hotspot to spill.
