This is my review of the Sofirn SC31 Pro. This is a 2000 lumen EDC flashlight with Anduril, 18650 battery & Type-C. This video ended up longer than I had anticipated, but I wanted to cover as much as I could.
This is a fun video that I made to try and test whether I could boil water using some of my flashlights. All of the lights in this video will burn darker objects like wood, and paper. Lighter objects like white paper seem to reflect most of the light/heat.
In this beam shot review video, I went to a park to test out the Sofirn IF25a. I was very impressed with the output. This light is becoming my 'go-to' light that I carry everywhere in my left pocket.
The Wuben C3 is a tactical-style flashlight that features an OSRAM P9 LED. The kit I purchased on Amazon includes a protected 3000mAh 18650 battery (Wuben branded).
I bought a few new flashlights recently and wanted to share the unboxing and my thoughts on them all. I was obsessed with torches some years ago and just started to get back into them.
The Wuben C2 is a 2000 lumen (Luminus SST-40) torch that I purchased off Amazon for around $50AUD. It comes with a battery + USB C charging, and also can function as a power bank.
The Sofirn SP35 is a 2000 lumen flashlight that comes with "ATR" or Advanced Temperature Regulation according to Sofirn. There's a Luminus SST-40 emitter under the hood that you can get in either 5000K or 6500K (I have the 6500K one as it's brighter!)
The Imalent MS03 is the world's smallest EDC flashlight. It features 3 Cree XHP 70.2 emitters with a total output of 13,000 lumens! This thing is BRIGHT. Pointing it at my ceiling lit up my entire room as if it were daytime.
This is my review of the Imalent MR90. It features 8x Cree XHP70.2 and 1x Luminus SBT-90.2 LEDs. This torch is amazingly bright and has the best of both works - a spot beam that can throw over 1km and flood light.
The Sofirn IF25a is a high-powered budget flashlight that is capable of producing over 4000 lumens! I've looked around and this is the only light you can purchase with 3800-4200 lumens for only $30. It has the highest lumens to dollar ratio to my knowledge.
