Wuben C2 vs Sofirn SP35 vs Sofirn SC31 Pro: Which is the BRIGHTEST?
In this video, I compare the relative brightness of the Wuben C2, Sofirn SP35 and Sofirn SC31 Pro using a lux app on my phone. This app uses the ambient light sensor on phone (not the camera) to display lux readings. I’ve used the ceiling bounce test in the video, with the torches placed in the same position with fully charged cells.

Results:
Wuben C2 – 312 lux
Sofirn SC31 – 299 lux
Sofirn SP35 – 327 lux
I noticed the Wuben C2 and Sofirn SC31 ramped down fairly quickly. Both Sofirns ramped down and then up using their ATR (Advanced Temperature Regulation) to maintain safe operating temperatures. The Wuben seem to ramp down and stay at that level for the remaining time of the test. I need to calibrate my Sofirn SC31 as it is ramping down too quickly – it’ll be able to hold turbo for longer once I set this up.
In beam test comparisons, I noted that the Wuben C2 throws further than the SP35, but this test reveals that the SP35 is brighter overall, and also is better at maintaining higher output for a longer period of time than the C2.
This video is probably a bit longer than it needed to be, but keep watching if you want to see how the light/driver of these lights behaves after being on turbo for a few minutes.
