This Flashlight Surprised Me! Wuben L3 Review

Wuben just dropped the new L3 flashlight, and at first glance, it doesn’t look like much… but don’t let the simple exterior fool you. After using it daily for a week, I can confidently say this is one of the most practical and well-balanced flashlights I’ve handled in a while.

This is essentially Wuben’s take on a tactical-style 21700 flashlight, but with some really clever touches. It reminds me of the C3 and L1, but beefed up, with a slick onboard USB-C charging port hidden under the head for better water resistance and convenience. Output clocks in at a whopping 3000 lumens – I compared it to the Nitecore P23i in a ceiling bounce test, and it matched it blow-for-blow.

In this video, I’ll walk you through what’s in the box, how it compares with other lights in its class, the build quality, beam profile, and user interface. I’ll also give you some real-world insights after a week of testing, including what works, what could be improved, and where this light fits into your EDC or emergency setup.

If you’re after a compact, no-fuss flashlight with serious output and useful tactical-style features, the L3 might just surprise you.
